On-Call Coordinator - Weekday Evenings

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care has been in Lincoln for 25 years. Our motto "To us, it's personal®" is more than just words. It's a principle that permeates everything we do. It guides us as we provide personalized care, build relationships, and enhance the lives of seniors and their families right here in Lincoln, NE. We are looking for someone who enjoys providing awesome customer service, a friendly warm welcoming voice over the phone and loves working with Seniors/CAREGivers in a high paced environment! Our On-Call Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of on-call duties, including scheduling shifts and working closely with the Service Coordinators in order to provide the highest quality service to clients. This position is Monday-Friday from 5pm-8am the next day, during this time you will be answering all incoming calls, fill all client shifts following designated office scheduling processes that come open, communicate all changes with client(s) and CAREGiver(s). Create a report at the end of shift with all call logs as well as logging all communication in client(s)/CAREGiver(s) profile, contact backup support if needed, field and schedule Client/CAREGiver inquires and perform all other functions deemed necessary. Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Home Instead Senior Care. Must be patient and congenial on the telephone. Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and independent decision-making skills. Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry, met basic computer skills, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
