Larry Cushing is the Franchise Owner of Home Instead and brings nearly a decade of experience from the Home Instead Global Headquarters, where he supported franchise owners and office teams across the country. During that time, he developed a deep belief in helping older adults remain safe, independent, and confident at home — where they most want to be.

Although originally from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Larry has long felt a strong connection to Wyoming. With family throughout the state, he spent many years growing up exploring Wyoming’s communities and wide-open landscapes, developing a deep appreciation for the people, values, and independence that define the state. Serving Wyoming families is both a professional commitment and a personal one.

Outside of work, Larry enjoys spending time with his two sons, Jameson and Damien, his better (and smarter) half Jamie, and their dog Leo. As a family, they enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and anything Nebraska Cornhusker related.

Valarie Phillips serves as the C.A.R.E. Operations Director for the Thunder Basin office in Gillette. She relocated to Wyoming in 2025 to launch the office, bringing nearly a decade of experience with Home Instead of the Black Hills and a deep understanding of what consistent, high-quality in-home care truly requires. Her focus is clear: build a strong team, cultivate meaningful community partnerships, and ensure families receive dependable care where it matters most — at home.

Valarie joined Home Instead in 2016 as a Care Professional, serving clients directly in their homes before stepping into leadership. In 2021, she became Service Manager, overseeing daily operations and office performance prior to helping establish the Gillette location. She leads with confidence, accountability, and a hands-on approach — setting high standards while supporting her team to meet them. Because she has served in the field herself, she understands both the heart and the discipline required to deliver exceptional care.

A proud Southern Hoosier and mother of three adult children, Valarie brings Midwest resilience and determination to her work each day. Outside of the office, you may find her enjoying karaoke night, taking her Jeep off-roading, or spending time with her English Bulldog, Remo.

John David De Dios joined Home Instead as a C.A.R.E. Experience Specialist. Born and raised in the Philippines, he was lovingly raised by his grandparents — an experience that shaped his deep respect for older adults and strengthened his commitment to serving seniors.

With a background in hospitality and more than five years of healthcare recruitment experience, John brings strong interpersonal skills and a heart for service. He is passionate about building dependable care teams that make a meaningful difference for families and Care Professionals alike.

Patrick serves as part of the Home Instead team with a commitment to supporting both clients and Care Professionals with consistency and professionalism. He brings experience in customer service and team coordination, helping ensure communication remains clear and care transitions are handled smoothly.

Patrick values responsiveness, accountability, and building trust with families during important care decisions. His steady approach helps create confidence for clients and strong support for Care Pros.

June Resabal brings more than a decade of customer service experience along with a strong background in scheduling and coordination.

As a C.A.R.E. Response Specialist, she serves as a trusted point of contact for clients and Care Pros during after-hours support. She ensures urgent matters are addressed promptly, key information is communicated clearly, and care continues without disruption.

Her reliability, calm presence, and commitment to service provide reassurance whenever it matters most.

Hubert is a nursing graduate with more than eight years of customer service experience and over five years in scheduling and coordination.

In his role as a C.A.R.E. Response Specialist, he supports clients and Care Pros after hours, ensuring concerns are handled efficiently and communicated clearly. Detail-oriented and dependable, he thrives in fast-paced environments where organization and responsiveness are essential.

Outside of work, Hubert enjoys traveling and online gaming as a way to relax and recharge.

Nicole Casey serves as the C.A.R.E. Operations Specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Health Science with a minor in Applied Biological Science.

Nicole began her journey with Home Instead as a Care Professional before transitioning into office leadership roles. Her well-rounded experience in caregiving and operations strengthens systems, supports Care Professionals, and ensures consistent service delivery.

She is passionate about learning, growth, and helping teams operate with clarity and purpose.
