Meet the wonderful duo of Irene her CAREGiver Ella that are the January Client and CAREGiver Spotlight. Irene is a long-time resident of Gallatin and has spent many years working around town mostly as a cook. Ella and Irene love to cook together, which Irene has been doing since she was 13 years old. In all those years Irene has become known for her specialty, peach cobbler. Irene even enjoys cooking for her neighbors with Ella’s help. Irene can’t stand for extended periods of time, and Ella’s help allows her to still do what she loves. Irene is also very fashionable and loves to dress up, even when she is not going anywhere. She has a hair style and jewelry to go with every outfit. Ella too has style and knows what Irene likes to wear. Ella often picks out an outfit for Irene and does her hair. The two love to laugh at TV and have a great time every day. The holidays are special to Irene as well, and the two decorate for each holiday and make foods specific to that holiday. All of the neighbors are thankful for the special treats they get, including homemade Christmas cards. Irene has been quoted to say about Ella; “She is good to me and is a good person.” “She is my best friend and I don’t know what I would do without her” We are just so happy to see how the pair Shares Their Hearts each and every day, while staying safe at “Home Instead.”
