Douglas Walker is our Professional Caregiver of the Month for October. Douglas came from a farming family. He is no stranger to hard work. He has been married to Laura for 18 years. He does not have any children, but has 2 fur babies. He has a dog named Riley and a cat named oatmeal. He loves making a difference in people’s lives by being a caregiver. Douglas has a very caring heart. He never meets a stranger. He is early to every shift and sometimes stays late if the client needs help. Douglas likes movies, music, and art. He is an artist and likes to sketch and paint with watercolors. His favorite food is steak. He loves rocky road ice cream, and his favorite holiday is Halloween. He loves to see the kids having fun. His administrators said “Douglas has a huge heart. He makes all his clients feel like they are family.”
