Say hey to Rodney Kelley, the Goodlettsville March Professional CAREGiver of the month. Rodney loves being a caregiver. He feels like he makes a difference in his clients’ lives by making them laugh. He was born to entertain people. He won 2nd place in his 7th grade talent show as a magician. He was hired by the Pentagon 12 times to entertain the troops all over Europe. He loves making the clients laugh. He says it is not a good day unless his clients are smiling. He has even done a magic show for Dolly Parton and Waylon Jennings.
Rodney is reliable and very caring. He loves making a difference in our seniors lives by treating them like family. He loves to see them laugh and goes above his roll as a caregiver by making sure every need is fulfilled before leaving his shift. When Rodney is not making our clients laugh, he loves doing magic shows. He has been to 30 different countries doing magic. He teaches magic tricks to children 1st thru 4th grade at schools around the area. He also performs at churches and birthday parties.
Rodney loves coffee… His favorite ice cream is chocolate chip mint. His favorite food is steak and mushrooms. Summer is his favorite season because he can be outside more. His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving so he can eat turkey and watch football all day. He loves his mom’s cooking and will try to copy some of her recipes.
We are fortunate to be able to call Rodney a Home Instead family member. We hope he continues to care and entertain within our company for many years to come.
