Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Safety is one of our top priorities. We do everything possible to keep both our Clients and staff safe and our safety record is excellent! We have a variety of shifts available with competitive pay and benefits, including telemedicine (easy-to-use virtual doctor visits) for you and your family when illness strikes, giving you 24/7 access to doctors by mobile app or phone. One way that we do this is by taking the time to introduce you to your clients before your first shift. As a CAREGiverSM with Home Instead, you will: Provide Companionship, Home Helper Services, and Personal Care which could include: Companionship and conversation , Providing stabilization and assistance with walking , Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items , Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders , Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.) Washing and ironing laundry , Running errands , Accompanying clients to appointments , Assisting with bathing, grooming and dressing , Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues , Alzheimer's Care. Essential Job Requirements: Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds , Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach , Ability to consistently provide physical assistance to a client (i.e. stand-by assistance while walking, assist client with transfers),Complete a satisfactory criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen, Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance, ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect , ability to adapt to various living environments and locations , ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner. We have a variety of shifts available with competitive pay. A preferred candidate would be flexible in the number of hours needed per week as this is a part-time position.
