Join us for our inclusive Memory Cafe, a place of support and connection in Sequim, WA. At Home Instead, we believe promoting a sense of community and understanding is critical for individuals living with memory loss and their care partners. Our Memory Cafe is held every 3rd Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Big Elk Restaurant (707 E. Washington St. Sequim, WA).
This free event is a unique opportunity for those with dementia-related diagnoses, mild cognitive impairment, or concerns about memory loss, along with their family members and care partners, to come together. The cafe aims to create an environment where people can interact, share experiences, and find solace without fear of judgment. While participants are welcome to purchase food and beverages, there is no cost unless they choose to do so.
At Home Instead, we believe that "there is still a lot of living to do" after a diagnosis. As we strive to provide the best home care in Sequim, WA, we will continue to promote events like the Memory Cafe, restoring a sense of normalcy for both individuals with diagnoses and their loved ones.
