That is why we are delighted to spotlight a monthly support group, presented by the Alzheimer's Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, that offers a nurturing environment where caregivers can connect, share their experiences, and receive valuable support from others who understand the unique challenges of caring for loved ones with dementia.
We invite you to join us for our upcoming Alzheimer's and Related Dementia Caregiver Support Group event on Wednesday, July 5th, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Geisinger Memory and Cognition Clinic, located at 620 Baltimore Dr., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. The meeting will be held in the clinic conference room, providing a confidential space where caregivers can openly discuss their experiences and find solace within a compassionate community of understanding individuals.
During these Alzheimer's Association support group sessions, attendees have the opportunity to:
- Develop a strong support system to navigate their caregiving journey.
- Exchange practical information and strategies to overcome challenges and explore potential solutions.
- Share their thoughts, emotions, needs, and concerns in a safe and understanding environment.
