Home Instead-Louisville provides $10,000 grant to the Thrive Center


LOUISVILLE, Ky. – December 16, 2021 – Home Instead-Louisville is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the older adults in our community. Along with providing services to local seniors and their families, the office also gives back to local organizations focused on helping seniors live well and thrive.

To further this community commitment, Home Instead-Louisville is giving a $10,000 grant to the Thrive Center through the Louisville Charitable Fund established at Home Instead Charities. The Thrive Center is a local nonprofit focused on transforming the quality of life – and the quality of care – for aging adults by connecting healthcare innovators with the aging care population.

“We are pleased to support the Thrive Center located in our community. Thrive Alliance is a unique consortium of collaborators, researchers and healthcare providers who are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to improve the lives of seniors,” says Steve Hendricks, CEO of the Home Instead office serving Louisville and neighboring communities.

“Thrive is honored to receive the Home Instead grant in support of our mission. We believe the home is the healthcare hub of the future and Home Instead will play a vital role in accelerating innovative solutions to the home,” says Sheri Rose, CEO of the Thrive Center.   

“We believe supporting Thrive’s mission directly supports the Home Instead vision to help seniors live their best life. We are eager to see how these funds help transform the quality of life for the older adults in our community,” says Hendricks.

The Center is a physical hub bringing together in one place an interactive, hands-on experience of the technology showcased and educational programs, where older adults and caregivers can experience and immerse themselves in innovation. Thrive Alliance is comprised of a collaborative group of providers, researchers and distribution partners from across the U.S. dedicated to solving challenges and scaling solutions for the aging population.
