Excellent, perfect assistance to me by Home Care Nurse Asst. Kathy, & her Supervisor Audrey Willis, to get to VA Hosp. from home for med. procedure appt., & safely back home again. I don't remember ever getting better service from any private service co. I highly recommend Home Instead for Home Care & med. appt. escort assistance.

Esther was excellent in her eagerness to daily clean various areas in the patient's home. She also watched the physical therapist and continued to lead the patient in the 3 x /day required exercises for the patient who by the way made an amazing recovery from his complete knee replacement surgery. Diamond, a retired teacher, also watched the physical therapist and made sure the patient completed his required 3 x/day series of physical therapy.
LaTorsha also watched the physical therapist and made sure the patient completed his required 3x/day series of physical therapy. With the diligent encouragement from all three nurses over 3 weeks, the patient amazed the surgeon and physical therapist with the advanced flexion of his knee at 3 weeks time. I cannot thank Esther, Diamond and LaTorsha enough for their encouragement and dedication in the patient's care and amazing recovery.

Home Instead Senior Care has been amazing. They also provide services for younger adults who need assistance with cooking, light housekeeping and transportation. Chichi has been invaluable to our family. She is always prompt and goes out of her way to make sure I am taken care of each day. She helps take me to doctor appointments and attends to all my tasks/errands for the day. I am so thankful to Chichi for all that she has done. The staff at the Home Instead office have also been wonderful. Audrey is always available to answer questions and adjust to my schedule needs. I would definitely recommend Home Instead.

Top-notch experience. My father needed assistance at home following his release from the hospital, and I was clueless as to where to begin. The hospital case worker recommended Home Instead, and I could not have been more pleased with how Home Instead and its representatives have helped our family during this stressful time. During our first call, Anastasia thoroughly and efficiently explained how the process works and the scope of services offered by Home Instead. We were also able to set up an assessment at the hospital the same day for services to begin just a few days later. Margarita, the aide assigned to provide services for my father, has been absolutely wonderful. She is professional, friendly, and proactive. Fortunately, my father is doing better and will no longer be requiring home services, but we will absolutely be using Home Instead if the need arises again, and I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone needing home services.

They have been wonderful. So very informative and patient as we were learning the ropes of how all of this works, and most gracious to us throughout. My dads caregiver, has become like family, My parents truly love her. When I know she is there with them, I am so very at peace, knowing they are in the best hands. I cant recommend them enough. The management, and the scheduling people are fantastic. So So kind and helpful. Truly have been such a blessing as I am juggling this hard time. I hands down give them 5+ stars.

Home Instead were life savers in making sure our uncle had eyes on him in the hospital while we were taking care of our aunt & trying to furnish a memory care room for him. The sitters reported on his condition, which was most helpful when we couldn't find a nurse to talk to at the hospital. Mostly, it was of great comfort to know that he wasn't alone & someone was there with him when we couldn't be.

I had to leave town overnight and have someone stay with my father for two days. I never leave him, so I was anxious. Dad also had animals that he needed help caring for while I was gone. Everything went great! Everyone, including the dogs and cats, had no problems at all. Candis and Yvonne were our helpers and were very experienced. They were kind, lovely people. Everyone at the agency we had contact with was so helpful. It was such a burden off my shoulders to have them.

This is a review of the Richmond Avenue location overall. Firstly, the administrative staff is wonderful. They all try their best to ensure that the client is satisfied and cared for. Having said that, one has to realize that getting the right team in place for the client is a process. We went through quite a few caregivers before we found the right fit for our mother. Sometimes the issue was personality, sometimes work ethic, sometimes lack of confidence in a caregiver’s strength. There are so many reasons why a client doesn’t click with a caregiver, but Home Instead never made us feel like we were being difficult or that we were imposing on them. Audrey, who handles the staffing, always graciously accommodated our requests until we found the right combination of caregivers. Secondly, we’d like to acknowledge a special caregiver: Miss Pat. Miss Pat is hard-working, dependable, and most importantly, she is kind and compassionate. She does everything that’s asked of her with a smile and to our mother’s exacting standards. She gives our mother such peace when she’s there, and for that, we can never thank her enough.

We love Noreen. I wish we could have her with mom all the time. She is so sweet and gentle.  She even took the time to get mom's room organized.  For the first time, in a long time, my mom even ate an entire plate of chicken salad and crackers. I wanted to cry because I was so grateful to see the progress. You guys really saved me yesterday and I am so thankful for that.

We’ve worked with HomeInstead for 4 years and this franchise for the past 2. My mom’s caregiver is the best. She treats my mom with respect and so helpful around the house. Honestly she’s like family now. She takes time to talk to my mom about life, tv shows and other things. The office is also very helpful as my schedule can change and they are great about finding coverage at the last minute. Thank you all!

Our family was extremely pleased with the care my mother received from Home Instead, especially Diamond, Audrey, and Morgan. The program was explained thoroughly prior to the start date. My mother's caregiver was always on time, wonderful, kind, compassionate, thorough, and trustworthy. In addition, the office staff was extremely responsive and understanding. I would highly recommend Home Instead.

The caregivers assigned to my mother had the upmost concern for her well-being. They provided excellent daily care and showed her whatever her needs might be that they were there for her. She felt their compassion, and it made her comfortable to be with them in her home. Watching and listening to them work along side my mother gave me reassurance that she was being well taken care of.

For background this is an end of service review. Home Instead SW provided approximately 8 months of services to our mother. We found them extremely caring and professional. For the family, this was an emotional time and expectations, like it would be for most love ones, were perhaps unreasonably high. I can't say there were not bumps along the way but with hand on heart can say Ibrahim and team ALWAYS did everything possible to quickly resolve them. Their responses with us were timely and corrective actions were always resolved to our satisfaction. The ladies that took care of our mom became friends to her and in her final days were noticeable sadden by what was to come. This is where our respect for these earthbound angels move from simply a service provider and become a blessing, to both the client and the family. For this we can never say thank you enough.
