Angie came to work for Home Instead because she feels very strongly about Eldercare and enjoys helping Seniors in their homes in whatever way they need. Angie says, “God has blessed me with the most amazing job ever.”
Angie has many favorite parts about caregiving. She loves taking clients to their appointments, cooking for them, sitting with them while they reminisce about their families, and taking a long walk on a beautiful day.
Angie took care of Ms. Hildy for 8 years. Angie was her very first Care Professional! Angie’s special memory of Ms. Hildy is helping her decorate her home for Christmas.
Angie said Ms. Hildy was the most beautiful woman ever, and she is still inspired by her even though she has passed away.
Angie’s advice to other Care Professionals is to be patient, kind, and loving. Angie handles stress by remaining calm and listening to Christian radio station 91.9 for inspiration.
Angie loves working for Home Instead because she enjoys working with other Care Professionals and going to different places with her clients, and she says the people in the office are fantastic.
