What is Gleam in Your Eye?
Gleam in Your Eye is “a company driven by the desire to foster and nurture a positive environment by entertaining and providing cognitive stimulation to people with a form of dementia such as Alzheimer’s.” Gleam in Your Eye was founded as an innovative product offering a monthly subscription box filled with fun and stimulating activities. The boxes are delivered directly to the homes of patients to help make life easier for caregivers. Each box includes five different games, designed to engage the senses, provoke logical thinking, invite play with words, stimulate artistic expression and encourage light physical moves.
Our team at Home Instead was drawn to Gleam in Your Eye because of our companies’ similar passion and mission. For Gleam in Your Eye, they strive to actively be “Bringing joy to people who live with dementia”. Their activities center around fun interests that will enhance the lives of aging adults and their families with dementias – and that mission is shared with Home Instead.
