Meet Our Team

Anne is our Franchise Business Owner; she started her career with Home Instead Inc. working for the home office in Omaha, NE in 2004. Her husband, Troy, and she purchased the Polk Co. franchise in 2008. Anne focuses on creating a culture of leadership, promoting HI in the community and planning community service projects. She loves creating greater awareness in the Des Moines area regarding senior issues, challenges and needs. Anne currently serves on the Board of Iowa Center for Home Care. She spends her time traveling with family, decorating her home, and preparing delicious meals for her family & friends on Sunday nights.

Staci is our Internal Director & Care ProSupervisor. She has a passion for encouraging & coaching Care Pros alongside their career path. Staci will conduct Care Pro evaluations and she will be your go to PERSON for any questions etc. Staci loves spending her time reading, traveling the world, and hanging out with her family.

Leah is our Director of Client Care; she oversees the HI client care team and is vital in directing care consultations. She loves meeting with and onboarding new clientele, oversees the quality assurance program and partners with local referral providers in the DSM metro. Leah spends her extra time being a mom to her three children and enjoys doing anything active.

Nina is one of our Nurse Care Coordinator. She serves as a liaison between families, clients, and Care Pros to make sure clients' needs are met with excellence. Also, as a RN, she is responsible for educating our Care Pros in providing the best nurse directed cares to our clients. Nina loves spending time with her family.

Dixie is one of our HI Scheduling Coordinators. She enjoys matching the right client with the right Care Pro, to watch them succeed and build a long-lasting relationship. She is dedicated to helping Care Pros when she is on call to give their clients the best care possible. She was Caregiver of the Year in 2020. Dixie loves traveling to visit her family in Missouri, she is a mother of three and one fun dog.

Lori, as our First Impressions Specialist, is an expert at taking inquiry calls, coordinating long-term care, and creating positive lasting impressions with our clients and Care Pros. As the weekend On-Call Supervisor, she is there to help assist and coach Care Pros with any questions regarding their client’s care or schedules. Lori was Caregiver of the Year in 2018. She has four fury children that she loves so much and always keep her laughing.

Dera is our Training Specialist; she sets up Care Pros for success in their careers. She specializes in Care Pro quality training, personalized care team meetings and one-on-one training. Her primary goal is to ensure that HI is a place of belonging, fulfillment, and encouragement. Dera is an Alzheimer's advocate in the DSM Metro and has been a grand champion for the Walk to End for the last 5 years. She is active in the women’s & prayer ministries at Hope Lutheran Church, loves long countryside drives and is always trying something new in the kitchen.

Kait is our Home Care Consultant, she has a passion for making connections in the community and being a resource for families in need. She is tenacious, unabashed and an incredible advocate for Home Instead. Kait loves to share local resources for all individuals to help them find a solution. Kait is a mom to her beautiful daughter, loves to spend time with her wild pup Bejorn and husband Patrick.

Roxi is the Recruitment Coordinator for Home Instead.  After being a caregiver for 4 years, she was excited to join the office support team in February 2022.  She enjoys finding passionate candidates and introducing them to all the opportunities that HI offers. Once onboarded, she loves seeing the Care Professionals build relationships with their clients and flourish in their role.  She is the proud mom of 4 kids and enjoys reading historical fiction, binge watching cooking shows and going on bike rides.
