Every holiday season, Home Instead locations across the world hold the Be a Santa to a Senior event to donate gifts to seniors who otherwise may not receive a gift. The event is an amazing opportunity for people in the community to give to a great cause and bring a smile to someone's face during the holidays. Our Home Instead of Norfolk team had a particularly full year, as we not only delivered gifts to seniors, but we also partnered with a local business to bring even more holiday cheer.
For starters, our Home Instead of Norfolk, NE team distributed over 130 gifts this year! We were so excited to deliver the gifts around town and see faces light up when opening gifts. It is such a blessing to host this event every year and have the community behind us all the way! Thank you to everyone who donated gifts this year!
Once the small packages were ready to go, we delivered even BIGGER gifts with the help of Deets Furniture. Kyle Deets and the team were true rockstars and donated 7 Bluetooth, lift chair recliners to area seniors! It was such a joy and privilege to be part of these very special 'Be a Santa to a Senior' deliveries.
