Meet Our Team

Home Instead and Andrea were a perfect match for one another! During the 6 years that she spent working towards her Master’s in Business degree from Wayne State College, Andrea worked as in-home care provider for seniors. This experience and her strong desire to help seniors and those who are disabled stay in their homes, led her to her fulfilling journey with Home Instead. After serving as the General Manager for 11 years, Andrea purchased the business in 2018. Andrea takes great pride in leading a dynamic, close-knit team that is responsible for changing the face of aging in the communities that they serve. Her husband Levi works full time with Black Hills Energy. Levi and Andrea have been blessed with 5 precious children--daughters-Graycen, Ashlyn, and Brooklyn and son Logan light up their lives and their home with love and laughter. Their beloved daughter Lauryn, who was stillborn, smiles down upon them from Heaven.

Jennifer has lengthy career experience in the service industry, working as a case manager in New York for people with developmental disabilities. This experience made her a perfect fit for her move to Nebraska and her career with Home Instead. As our Client Care Manager, she is leading the client care team and working with families to find trusted solutions to their long term care needs. Her team continuously evaluates the care they are providing to their clients through a series of ongoing communications and visits to ensure high quality care and client satisfaction. Jennifer and her husband Mike live near Carroll, NE. Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends and family, including daughter Jasmine; visiting their cabin by the river; watching the Yankees; and traveling.

Cory is no stranger to serving seniors. Prior to joining the administrative team, Cory faithfully shared his time, talent, and skills with Home Instead as a dedicated Caregiver, since 2017. As our Client Care Coordinator, Cory enjoys building relationships with our treasured clients and their family members, as well as supporting our valued Caregivers, referral providers and business partners. Cory resides in Columbus with his family and in his free time he enjoys, most of all, the time he spends with wife Myrissa and their sons, Jude and Soul. Cory also enjoys music, the guitar, and sports.

Brissa brings with her a passion to serve, a caring heart, and years of experience in both Home Instead CAREGiving and business. Having previously worked in the production industry, Brissa found that she thoroughly enjoys the people centered purpose of the Home Instead mission of service to seniors, family members and our treasured CAREGivers. Her caring heart and passion to serve led her on a journey to provide round the clock care, to her mother, who suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease. Brissa’s years of faithful and compassionate care to her beloved mother, allowed her mother to stay at home, until her passing. Brissa is committed to recruiting the best of the best CAREGiver talent for Home Instead and providing them with top quality training, support and guidance throughout their Home Instead employment journey. Outside of work, Brissa treasures time with her family, including her boyfriend Dustin and her three children, Michael, Ysabelle, and Isaiah. Brissa also enjoys nature walks, puzzles, and movies with her family.

After a successful career in the business and banking industry, Joan retired and came on board as a valued part time support member of the Home Instead team! Two days a week, Joan is the cheerful voice and the helpful hand that greets our callers and visitors to the office. Joan and her husband also farm and they enjoy time with their daughters and grandchildren, as well as traveling together.

As our Support Specialist, Kiara is hard at work, behind the scenes, managing a variety of different projects to best support our treasured clients and valued Care Professionals. Kiara is from rural Wayne and is an avid Northeast Community College student, who is majoring in Pre-Professional Dentistry, with plans to be a Dental Hygienist. She is also a talented setter for the NECC Hawks volleyball team! Outside of her busy schedule with school and work, Kiara enjoys time with family and friends, going to the lake, shopping, and traveling.

Having a passion for seniors and an interest in learning more about the business sector of healthcare, made Home Instead a great fit for Alexis, who has had years of experience in direct care work with seniors. As our Administrative Assistant, Alexis provides a wealth of clerical and administrative support to the Home Instead team, to ensure a quality experience for clients and caregivers alike. God is her #1 and she enjoys time with her close-knit family of parents Jerad and Jenn, identical twin sister Alisha, and brother Kale. Alexis loves to be outdoors and going on adventures. She is also excitedly anticipating her upcoming wedding to fiancée, Damian!

The heart and soul of our Home Instead team is our valued Caregivers, who provide the direct care to our valued clients.  Our treasured Caregivers, work both part time and full time careers with Home Instead; and they live throughout our Northeast Nebraska coverage area. They are the eyes and the ears in the homes of our clients and are day in and day out providing dedicated service to Home Instead, through their delivery of compassionate care to those clients, families, and the communities that we are so privileged to serve.
