For many seniors, engaging in fiber arts, like knitting, quilting, or weaving, is a soothing hobby that keeps the mind sharp and offers the joy of making something beautiful by hand. That’s why Home Instead is excited to spotlight a recurring community event perfect for those who love to create.
Fiber Arts Night (FAN) will be held on Tuesday, November 4, from 4pm to 6pm at the Port Townsend Public Library (1220 Lawrence St) in the Carnegie Reading Room. This event repeats every first Tuesday of the month and welcomes knitters, quilters, weavers, and crocheters. Just bring your own supplies and enjoy a relaxing evening with a small group of crafters from around town.
