Birdwatching is a wonderful way to enjoy nature. For older adults, it can be a particularly rewarding hobby that encourages time outdoors and viewing the beauties of the world around us. If that sounds like fun, here’s a free event coming up you won’t want to miss!
On Thursday, July 17, from 6pm to 7pm at the Port Angeles Main Library, Raymond Carver Room, 2210 South Peabody Street, Port Angeles, WA 98362, the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society will host a Know Your Backyard Birds event. It will introduce the basics of bird identification, like size, shape, color, and song, and help you confidently recognize the species that frequent your yard or parks.
At Home Instead, we love sharing local events that help seniors keep their minds and bodies active. For those who need a little extra support while enjoying the things they love, we’re proud to provide the best home care in Port Angeles, WA, for you and your family.
