The start of a New Year means it is time for Port Angeles to celebrate with a very chilly tradition. Home Instead is excited to spotlight the 37th Annual Polar Bear Dip, a bold way for families to come together and support the Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, which has been serving the terminally ill, their caregivers, and families for over 40 years.
Be one of the brave souls to take the icy plunge (or an enthusiastic spectator!). Everyone will gather at Hollywood Beach, 121 E Railroad Ave, on January 1st at 10am. After a quick dip in some frigid water, warm up with hot drinks and more!
Best of all, this "Freezin’ for a Reason" event benefits the Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC). This incredible nonprofit provides 24/7 end-of-life care and equipment lending to local families completely free of charge; never billing insurance or the government.
