In the rush of daily life, it’s hard to be fully present, especially when we are focused on caring for others. The Home Instead team spotted an upcoming virtual event that offers a chance to pause and explore the art of mindfulness.
On Wednesday, March 11th, from Noon to 1:30pm PT, the Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is hosting a special speaker series called "What is Living Compassion?" featuring Cheri Huber. As a student and teacher of Zen Awareness Practice and the author of over 20 books, Cheri has a lot of experience with this topic. The session is an open dialogue focused on finding compassion within yourself, even in the midst of a busy schedule.
This presentation is free and open to the community, but you do need to register to get the link. You can even send in your questions ahead of time to help kick off the discussion.
Call 360-452-1511 or email [email protected] to register!
We love sharing these types of programs because mental and emotional clarity are key to a healthy life. While our caregivers work to provide the best home care in Clallam County, WA, we will continue to highlight events that help our community find inner peace.
