This year Home Instead chose 10 Care Pros who truly stood out, demonstrating compassion and exceptional care to the older adults and families they work with. Being named a Care Pro of the Year is one of the profession’s highest honors and Home Instead’s highest accolade for our more than 100,000 Care Pros worldwide. Meagon J. - August 2026 Care Pro of the Month
Congratulations to Meagon Jolivette, our August Care Pro of the Month! Meagon has been a valued member of the Home Instead Beaumont team for nearly a year. She says she was drawn to Home Instead because our commitment to compassionate, person-centered care closely matches her own values. “I wanted to be part of a team that truly invests in both its staff and the quality of life of its clients,” Meagon shared. She especially appreciates Home Instead’s focus on communication with clients and their families, as well as ongoing training and support for Care Pros. For Meagon, caregiving is much more than a job—it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. She loves the one-on-one nature of home care and the opportunity it provides to build genuine relationships with the people she serves. “My favorite part about being a caregiver is serving others who need special care. I truly believe part of my purpose here on earth is to care for and love others and to treat people the way I would hope someone would care for me if I ever needed help. I find purpose and joy in caring for others.” Outside of work, Meagon enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, crafting with her husband, attending church, and helping others whenever she can. We are grateful to have Meagon as part of our Home Instead Beaumont family and proud to recognize her as our August Care Pro of the Month!
