Home Instead is hiring part time caregivers to perform the essential work of keeping aging adults safe and comfortable at home. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.Caring for a bed bound patient is a multifaceted task that requires patience, empathy, and specialized knowledge.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping task
• Medication reminders
• Assistance with bed bathing
• Assistance with incontinence issues
• Assistance with repositioning
• Technical skills are helpful

Requirements to be a Home Instead Care Pro are:

• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• Must be available to work a schedule of 15-30 hours per week
