With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, everyone has hearts on the brain, but at Home Instead, we want to make sure yours is in top shape so you can keep enjoying all the things you love. We are spotlighting a local workshop called "Be Heart Healthy" to show your heart some love!
On Friday, February 6th, the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Dr, will host this event in their Joshua Room on the East end, starting at 10:30am. Dr. Weitz and Dr. Ingerman from Comprehensive Home Health Solutions will be sharing simple, realistic strategies for older adults.
They’ll cover everything from heart-healthy eating and safe movement to stress management and medication awareness. It’s all about small, sustainable changes that support energy, independence, and overall well-being. No RSVP is necessary, so feel free to just drop by the east end of the building.
We love highlighting these events because staying informed is vital to living a long, healthy life.
