Holland is filled with awesome places for residents to enjoy, like the Windmill Island Gardens, the Big Red Lighthouse, and of course, the Holland Museum! At Home Instead, we enjoy spotlighting unique events and resources in our community, like free museum days, because we believe supporting seniors goes beyond providing the best home care in Holland, MI. Sharing events like this helps everyone get out and engage with others in our community.
The Holland Museum offers free admission for all visitors on the second Monday of each month from 4pm to 7pm. If you've never been to the museum before, you can find it located at 31 West 10th Street. It has galleries filled with Dutch fine and decorative arts, including 17th–20th century paintings, Delftware, silver, and historic costumes. Stop by and explore Holland’s heritage at the Cappon House and Settlers House, both newly restored and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Free Second Mondays at the Holland Museum is just one of many wonderful ways for seniors, families, and neighbors to spend time together in our vibrant city. Home Instead will continue to keep a lookout for more fun-filled events, so check back with us to learn more!
