What’s a trip to the library without a tote to carry all your books? Home Instead couldn't agree more! We are excited to spotlight this local workshop because hands-on activities like fabric arts are great for seniors.
Join Fabric Arts 101: “Stitch a Story” Book Totes on Monday, December 15th, from 6 to 8pm at the Herrick Main Library, 300 South River. You will learn about the fabric arts resources Groundworks has to offer as you sew your own book tote. AJ Young, co-owner of Co-Create Studio in Fennville, MI, will teach you to embellish your tote to tell personal or cultural stories through thread, fabric, and design. No sewing experience needed, and all materials will be provided!
