Team Member Cheryl Sheasby

Cheryl Sheasby, Owner

Cheryl Sheasby is the owner of CAS Services, Inc., doing business as Home Instead, a trusted provider of in-home care services for seniors. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and brings over 30 years of experience as a business owner, including running a successful mortgage brokerage and other ventures. 

Cheryl’s journey into senior care was shaped by both professional expertise and personal experience. Having provided hands-on care for her own family members and worked closely with clients, she understands the importance of compassionate, reliable support for aging adults and their loved ones. That personal connection drives the mission of Home Instead under her leadership. 

In addition to a strong focus on client care, Cheryl is deeply committed to creating a supportive, respectful, and empowering work environment for caregivers. She believes that exceptional care begins with a team that feels valued and inspired, and she fosters a culture where caregivers can thrive. 

Through a blend of business acumen, personal dedication, and a people-first philosophy, Cheryl continues to be a respected leader in the home care industry and a passionate advocate for both clients and care professionals. Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys playing with her Triumph Spitfire, ice skating, camping, hiking, and gardening.

Amara Willey, General Manager

Amara brings over 20 years of experience helping businesses and teams run smoothly—and she does it with heart. Her background spans finance, operations, and HR, giving her the skills to keep everything organized behind the scenes so our caregivers can focus on what matters most: you and your loved ones.

She’s passionate about creating systems that work, supporting staff, and making sure every client receives care that’s not only professional but truly compassionate. Amara believes great care starts with strong foundations—and she’s here to make that happen every day.

Outside of work, she enjoys roller skating, gardening, and cooking, finding joy in both staying active and creating things that bring people together.

Jelina Ferrer, Administrative Assistant

Jel helps keep the office running smoothly by handling administrative tasks, pre-screening applicants, and supporting the onboarding process for new Care Professionals. With strong organizational skills and an eye for detail, she ensures that the behind-the-scenes work is taken care of so the team can stay focused on providing excellent care. She enjoys creating order out of the busy day-to-day operations and being a reliable point of support for both the office staff and incoming caregivers, believing that when the foundation of the team is organized and supported, caregivers can do their best work and clients can receive the quality care they deserve.

Kelsie

Kelsie Carver, Engagement Coordinator

Kelsie Carver is a Care Coordinator at Home Instead, where she helps families create personalized care plans that promote independence, safety, and quality of life for older adults. She began her healthcare career at just 19, working with adults with disabilities, and quickly developed a passion for person-centered care.

Kelsie holds certifications as a Personal Support Specialist (PSS), Direct Support Professional (DSP), and Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA). She brings both compassion and expertise to her role, ensuring every client receives exceptional care and attention.

Outside of work, Kelsie enjoys spending time outdoors with her three kids and three dogs — and she never turns down a good axe-throwing session.

Jayson Carido, Scheduler

Jayson helps keep daily operations running smoothly by coordinating schedules, managing client needs, and supporting Care Professionals so they can focus on delivering exceptional service. With over a decade of experience in the BPO and customer service industry—and several years leading teams—he brings strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to efficiency into every part of the scheduling process.

He excels at problem-solving, handling escalations, and ensuring that both clients and caregivers receive timely support. Jayson enjoys bringing structure to fast-paced environments and serving as a reliable point of contact for the team. He believes that when schedules are well-managed and communication flows seamlessly, caregivers can perform at their best and clients receive the quality, consistent care they deserve.
