Caregiver Requirements -- You must have:
- Valid CNA certification with minimum of 2 years experience
- CPR certification
- TB test results
- Maryland Driver’s License (not provisional or learners permit)
- Reliable personal transportation with valid auto insurance in your name
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to successfully pass a Reference Check, Background Check and Motor Vehicle Check, and a pre-employment Drug Screen
- Ability to read, speak and write in English. Additional languages are a plus
- Willing to work with clients with pets or clients that smoke.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Personal Care Assistance with hygiene needs
- Memory Care
- Care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
- Friendly and compassionate communications
- Take clients to medical appointments and on errands.
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
