Location: Home Instead Rockford, Illinois.
Compensation: $ 15.50 - $ 20,00 Weekday and Weekend Shifts
Shifts Available: 12-hour shifts – Day and Night

Position Overview
We are currently hiring dedicated and compassionate caregivers who are available to work 12-hour shifts (day and night schedules)This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with longer shifts and enjoy providing consistent, high-quality, one-on-one care.

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily needs while ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. You will build meaningful relationships with clients and help them remain independent in their homes for as long as possible.

What You’ll Do
As a Home Instead Caregiver, you’ll support seniors with:

  • Friendly companionship and conversation

  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support

  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation

  • Medication and appointment reminders

  • Specialized Alzheimer’s & Dementia care

  • And most importantly—treating clients with dignity, kindness, and respect

What We’re Looking For

  • 18+ years old

  • Compassionate nature and positive attitude

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

  • No experience? No problem! We provide paid skills training to help you feel confident and prepared. All you need is a caring heart and a desire to help others.
