Live-In Caregiver Needed – Bring Comfort, Care, and Companionship to Rockford Seniors

Winnebago, Boone & Stephenson Counties

Location: Rockford, IL
Pay: $16–$18/hour + Live-In Shift Premiums + Mileage Reimbursement
Schedule: Live-In (24-hour shifts with scheduled rest time)

Your Impact:

Over the past few years, we’ve all felt the effects of isolation, especially our aging community. As a Live-In Caregiver, you’ll be a steady, caring presence in their lives—restoring dignity, encouraging joy, and building meaningful relationships.

What You'll Be Doing:

You’ll live in the client’s home and provide support with:

  • Companionship and emotional connection

  • Assistance with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)—bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

  • Household tasks like light cleaning and meal prep

  • Medication and exercise reminders

  • Running errands

  • Specialized support for Alzheimer’s or Dementia care

  • And most importantly—having fun and making memories

What We’re Looking For:

  • Warm, outgoing, compassionate individuals who are inspired to help others

  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure

  • Prior caregiving experience (preferred but not required—we provide training!)

  • Driver’s License and reliable transportation (preferred)

  • CNA license a plus, but not required
