At Home Instead, we love sharing local events that give local seniors a chance to pay it forward. While many seniors might think giving blood is only for the younger crowd, as long as you are feeling well and meet the basic health criteria, you can be a donor! It is a great way to give back and support the medical treatments that many older adults rely on every day.
The Community Blood Drive is happening TODAY, Monday, June 8th, from 11am to 6pm at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, 1600 W. Walnut St. It takes less than an hour of your time, but your single donation can save up to three lives! If you are a regular donor, you will also score extra points in your account this month. Everything donated stays local to help our own neighbors, and to say thank you for giving back, ImpactLife is handing out some rewards.
