Theresa Gramkow, Owner
Theresa is the franchise owner of Home Instead. She purchased the franchise in December 2020 and relocated the office to Spencer, Iowa. Over the past five years, she has expanded the franchise territory to include two additional counties.
Theresa and her husband, Matt, moved their family from Avoca, IA to Milford, IA. They have three children: Bree, Cora, and Kingston. In her free time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves boating, gardening, and a variety of outdoor activities. Additionally, she likes to engage in various crafts during her downtime.
Theresa has a passion and vision for keeping people in their homes, where they are happiest.
Rachel Mathias, General Manager
Rachel is the General Manager of Home Instead, a position she has held since July 2021. When Rachel was hired, she was the Client Care Consultant and enjoyed working with clients and their families.
Rachel and her husband Lee live in Milford, and have three children: Hunter, Hilary, and Tanner. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys gardening, fishing, and taking her grand dogs for walks, along with a variety of outdoor activities.
Rachel is dedicated to caring for others and always strives to make a positive impact on their lives.
Charity Madsen, Office Manager
Charity joined Home Instead in October 2025 as our Office Manager. She lives in Arnolds Park with her significant other Bob and is the proud mom of three children: Bekka, Kadence, and Bodee.
When she’s not at the office, Charity loves soaking up summer days on her bike, admiring the changing leaves in the fall—her favorite season—and crafting cozy gnomes during the cold winter months.
Charity is passionate about supporting individuals as they grow and helping them remain safely and comfortably in their homes for as long as possible.
Allison Williamson, Client Care Manager
Allison has been with Home Instead since 2018 and has served as our Client Care Manager and Marketing Specialist since December 2021. When she was first hired, Allison started as a Care Pro and loved working with the elderly.
Allison lives in Spencer and has two children, Kinsley and Cael. As a busy mom, you can often find her at ballgames or school music concerts supporting her kids. In her spare time, Allison enjoys spending time with family and friends, engaging in outdoor activities, and reading a good book.
Allison is passionate about taking care of others and ensuring their safety.
Cora Gramkow, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator
Cora joined Home Instead in May 2021 as a Care Professional. In December 2025 she joined our office team as our Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. Cora lives in Estherville and has one fur baby named Aspen. Cora spends her free time enjoying the outdoors such as skiing, boating and softball.
Cora is dedicated to building a supportive group of care professionals that focuses entirely on the patient and families alike.
