Living on the coast means staying mindful and being prepared for whatever nature may bring. At Home Instead, we know that safety and peace of mind are top priorities for our seniors, so we are spotlighting a community service that will help you prepare for potential flooding or storm-related concerns.
On Thursday, June 4th, from 8:30 to 11:30am, the Town’s Public Works Department will be at the Broadway Beach Access, 100 Broadway Street, to assist residents with filling sandbags. Public Works personnel will be on-site to provide guidance and physical support. Please bring your own containers and sandbags.
There is a limit of 10 sandbags per resident. If you can't make it this time, try again on:
- July 2nd
- August 6th
- September 3rd
As Home Instead strives to provide the best home care in Longboat Key, FL, we will continue sharing local resources like this that help our neighbors stay prepared for whatever nature may throw at us this year.
