As a locally owned business, we offer friendly, responsive service right in your neighborhood. We're dedicated to making our community a better place to live for seniors and their families. ​

George
Operations Manager

George joined our team as Operations Manager in April 2025. George brings a wealth of team management and coaching experience, and he built and managed his own home care agency from 2017 to 2021. He was also primary caregiver for both of his parents before they passed away. In his free time, George likes spending time outdoors with his fur baby and enjoying quality time with his beautiful daughter, Skylar!

Barbara
Office Administrator and RN

Barbara is our registered nurse on staff.  She manages various aspects of our Care Pro and Client operations including onboarding, Care Pro engagement and evaluation, payroll, billing, and the long-term care insurance programs that are serving our clients.   She also assists with scheduling. She started her career with Home Instead as a Professional Caregiver in 2011.

Mary
Care Operations Manager

Mary is a Certified Nursing Assistant with experience caring for hospice, dementia, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and transitional care clients.  As our Care Operations Manager, Mary oversees our care management team which includes onboarding new clients, regular quarterly visits with our clients to ensure quality care, and ensuring our clients' care plans are up to date and address the current care needs. In addition to performing and documenting quality assurance visits, Mary conducts client and new caregiver introductions. When she isn’t working, Mary enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and their three fur babies!

Sarah
Client Care Manager

As a Client Care Manager, Sarah conducts regular quarterly visits with our clients to ensure quality care and update client assessments and care needs. In addition to performing and documenting quality assurance visits, Sarah onboards new clients and conducts client and new caregiver introductions. She started her career with Home Instead as a Care Professional in 2012.

Wendi
Business Development Manager

Wendi joined our team in October 2024.  She is a native Coloradoan, born in Greeley, and raised in Colo. Springs. Her family lived in the Vail Valley for 23 years before moving back to the front range. Wendi worked for Dignity Hospice for six years, starting as a Volunteer Coordinator but ultimately becoming its Community Outreach Coordinator.  Wendi also has a yoga and meditation practice and loves to hike, cross country ski, swim and do biking adventures. She also enjoys traveling and embracing other cultures and people. 

Kelly
Scheduling Coordinator

Kelly was born in Lima, Peru where she earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lima in 2017. She has been living in the United States for the past 8 years and in Colorado since 2021. She likes living in Colorado for many reasons, but being surrounded by lots of nature is near the top of the list! She really enjoys hiking with her dog Miley and paddleboarding on Colorado’s many beautiful lakes, and, In the winter, she likes to snowboard! When Kelly isn’t enjoying all that Colorado has to offer, she enjoys cooking Peruvian meals and healthy snacks.

Professionally, Kelly has several years of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically related to the coordination of both patient and staff scheduling. She is enjoying her new role with us as Scheduling Coordinator and says that she likes being the bridge between our caregivers and clients and contributing to our positive office culture!

Vickie
Training Coordinator

Vickie conducts our new Care Professional Orientation and Training Programs as well as our Hospice Training Program. In addition to her training responsibilities, Vickie also represents us for Quality Assurance Visits as well as being an active Care Pro. Vickie is passionate about providing dedicated and superior care to our seniors since 2011! She refers to her clients as her “sweetheart seniors” and she ensures that our trainees are knowledgeable and prepared when it comes to caring for clients in their homes. Vickie enjoys her grandchildren, gardening, and making candies and other goodies.

Maria
Client Care Manager and On-Call Supervisor

Maria has been with Home Instead Denver North since 2023 when she started out as (and continues to be) our On-Call and Weekend Supervisor. She recently became part of our Care Management Team and also serves as a Scheduling Coordinator when needed.  She has created exceptional relationships with our Care Pros and Clients and is excited to continue on her Home Instead adventure! 

Rick Mendoza
Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

With over 25 years of dedicated experience in talent acquisition and human resources, Rick joined our team in July 2025 to lead our recruitment and engagement efforts. He thrives on connecting individuals, particularly our dedicated caregivers, with careers that offer a sense of purpose and contribute positively to both personal lives and our communities. A native of Arizona, Rick and his wife, Michelle, have proudly embraced Colorado as their home for three decades. He is also a proud father to Haley, a recent graduate of Colorado State University. In his spare time, Rick serves the board for the National Kidney Foundation in Colorado and New Mexico and loves to spend time enjoying the Colorado outdoors with his family and two 2 dogs, Snickers and Lil Roo!
