At Home Instead, we watch for local events that help seniors stay active and connected to the community and feature those events here for you! That’s why we’re excited to share about the upcoming Community Plant Exchange on Saturday, August 30, from 2pm to 4pm at the Mountain View Public Library, 585 Franklin Street, Mountain View, CA 94041.
Experienced gardeners and newbies are all welcome to refresh their collection of plants and meet fellow plant enthusiasts in the neighborhood. Bring extra seedlings, cuttings, houseplants, or even shrubs (labeling your plants is encouraged) to exchange if you have them, but you’re welcome to take something home even if you don’t bring a plant of your own. Donations will be accepted at the library's side garage (off Mercy Street).
