There is nothing quite like looking out the window and seeing a backyard buzzing with colorful butterflies and birds. The Home Instead team wants you to stop and smell the flowers in your own backyard, and we found a free presentation that will help you create that natural, cozy paradise at home.
The library is hosting a talk on how to create a pollinator garden on Thursday, June 25th, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the Community Room at Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Rd. Did you know that pollinators are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we take? Certified Master Gardener, Dani Brusius, will teach you how to design a pollinator habitat, the best regional plants to grow, and how to care for them. While walk-ins are welcome, you can Pre-Register Online to save your spot.
As Home Instead strives to provide the best home care in Simi Valley, CA, we will continue to highlight local events that keep you connected to nature and teach you how to support pollinators. Grab a caregiver or friend and get your backyard garden blooming!
