We are happy to announce that our caregiver of the month for February 2021 is Kathy. Kathy treats every client with compassion, kindness and respect. She knows how to make the client and their family feel supported. She is always going above beyond for her clients, we hear nothing but good things about her from every client she has had. She is a huge help to the staffing department and always makes sure she makes herself available anytime we need some extra help. Kathy is a perfect example of what a Home Instead caregiver should be. Beatriz - 2020 CAREGiver of the Year
Beatriz has been with Home Instead since 2016. She has provided over 6k hours of care to our seniors and during her time with Home Instead, Beatriz has shown compassion, dedication, and leadership with both her clients and fellow CAREGivers out in the field. I'm originally from Venezuela and have lived in this country for the past 37 years and this is definitely my home. I have lived in New York, Boston, Washington DC, and lastly in California where I have been settled since 1997. I have 2 sons who have made my life interesting and plentiful. Lorena - May 2020 CAREGiver of the Month
My name is Lorena and I moved to Crestline 7 years ago. I have 2 sons and 2 daughters with a total of 8 grandchildren. I have a mini York terrier named Charlie that I love like another son. If I am not working you can find me out and about, because I don't really like to stay home. When I do spend time with family, I love to take pictures to show everyone. My favorite tv shows are I Love Lucy, The Walking Dead, Everybody Loves Raymond and Shirley Temple classics.
Living in Crestline away from my family was hard for me in the beginning, I wanted to keep myself busy and start a new career path. I found HISC through my son who was working for them in another location at the time. I chose caregiving because I saw the love, care, and protection of the one thing I cherish most in my life, Family.

Meet our CAREGiver of the Month for February
"Caregiving chose me. All the years of taking care of my parents. Wanting the best life for them in their last years, to make the process of aging easier for them and taking care of all the things they couldn't do anymore. It was all worth it at the end, when they were able to stay in their home. I want that for all my clients and love to be able to help them achieve the best quality of life possible. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family on road trips, concerts, and vacations.
Fun facts about myself? I like to think I am a good listener, I enjoy reading, and my nickname is Lolo!"
Congratulations to Dolores who was chosen for February's CAREGiver of the Month! She is always ready to take on any client no matter the severity of the case. She does amazingly well with clients with severe Alzheimer's or Dementia and can quickly diffuse any situation that arises. Dolores has been with us for over 4 years and has an excellent work ethic; she can always be counted on by her clients to be there for them. Her clients' family speak very highly of her and we cannot express how much we appreciate her here at Home Instead Senior Care!
