If you're looking to get more creative this year, look no further than the local library. At Home Instead, we are always looking for events that seniors can enjoy, so we're excited to spotlight a local art program that connects with history.
On Saturday, May 23rd, from 3 to 4pm, the Temple City Library, 5939 Golden West Ave, is hosting a Gaman Art Watercolor Postcard class. You'll create your own watercolor postcards inspired by the work of Chiura Obata, a professional artist who taught art classes while incarcerated during World War II. Gaman art reflects their spirit of resourcefulness and creativity.
