America’s 250th birthday is right around the corner. For local seniors, history buffs, and families, stepping back in time to explore the stories that shaped our country is a meaningful way to spend the day. Home Instead spotted a way for all our neighbors to celebrate together, and we want to highlight the details so you can mark your calendar.
The American Revolution 250th Anniversary Celebration is taking place on Saturday, June 27th from 11am to 12:30pm at the Oroville Library, 1820 Mitchell Ave. This event will bring history to life through an interactive display, a presentation on the Revolution’s legacy, and segments from Ken Burns’ The American Revolution documentary series.
