Overnight Caregiver (Awake Shift) – Home Instead

We are looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our team for overnight awake shifts. If you’re a night owl who thrives in a calm, one-on-one setting and loves providing meaningful care, we’d love to meet you.

Shift Details:

• Overnight awake shifts (typically 10–12 hours)
• Must have at least one weekend night available

Responsibilities May Include:

• Care for bed-bound clients
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence care
• Medication reminders
• Comfort care and overnight monitoring
• Dementia support and redirection
• Light housekeeping and documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 19 years old
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Experience with dementia and high-acuity care preferred (training available)
• Ability to stay awake and attentive for full shift
