We’re seeking a dependable, organized, and service-driven Scheduling & Staffing Coordinator to lead the daily logistics that keep our care operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate Daily Schedules: Manage caregiver shifts, fill open shifts quickly, and handle last-minute changes with confidence.
- Match Clients & Caregivers: Align caregiver skills and personalities with client needs for high-quality care experiences.
- Communicate Clearly: Serve as the central point of contact for caregivers, clients, and families—especially during schedule changes or emergencies.
- Support Retention & Satisfaction: Build relationships that foster trust, engagement, and long-term service.
- Document Thoroughly: Maintain accurate, real-time records in our scheduling system (WellSky).
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with recruiting and HR to support hiring, onboarding, and staffing strategy.
- Lead Service Recovery: Step in with calm leadership and creative problem-solving when challenges arise.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 2+ years of experience in scheduling, staffing, or care coordination (preferably in home care, healthcare, or senior services)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize quickly, multitask under pressure, and manage shifting priorities
- Confidence using scheduling or care management software (e.g., WellSky, ClearCare, HomeTrak)
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to balancing care and compliance
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—you don’t wait for problems to escalate
- Experience in a service-focused role, with a dedication to "doing what's right"for clients
- Strong organizational skills and comfort with technology
- Commitment to high standards of compliance and service quality
- Ability to travel locally as needed to meet clients and provide support
- Flexible availability for occasional after-hours or weekend duties
- Familiarity with state home care regulations and compliance
- Knowledge of care documentation practices (e.g., progress notes, service logs)
