We are so grateful for the dedication, compassion, and kindness she brings to our team and the clients she serves. To celebrate this well-deserved recognition, we asked Evalyn to share a little bit about herself—her journey, her passions, and what she loves most about being a Care Pro. Here’s what she had to say:
"I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 7, 1956, weighing 4 lbs. 2 oz. Over the years, I’ve lived in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Germany, and Georgia. I’m now retired and single, and I’ve had the joy of raising three wonderful children—two girls and one boy.
For a little over three years, I’ve worked for Home Instead. I genuinely love taking care of my clients. They’re not just a job to me—it’s personal. When I was younger, I spent every summer with my grandmother, and I believe that’s a big part of why I find so much joy in caring for others. I truly hope to continue doing this work for many more years.
In my spare time, I enjoy tending to my flowers, and I’ve recently become hooked on coloring with my iPad. Life is even sweeter thanks to my two adorable cats, who fill my days with love and joy."
