The holiday season is a time for connection, but for many older adults in our community, it can be very isolating. That's why Home Instead of Birmingham is hosting our annual "Be a Santa to a Senior" program through December 12th, collecting gifts for seniors who may be spending the holidays alone.
How You Can Participate:
- Purchase a Christmas bag (with handles) and fill it with NEW items listed below. Label the bag "male" or "female" and bring it to our office located at 2059 Columbiana Road, Vestavia Hills, 35216.
- Buy gifts for us to wrap, or make a monetary donation by bringing a check payable to Home Instead to our office. This is a great opportunity for youth groups, churches, or any other organization to provide community service.
- Purchase items on our Amazon Wishlist, and they will be shipped straight to us. Our "elves" will handle the wrapping and delivery!

Around the holidays, there are a lot of isolated senior adults who don't have family around. It doesn't take much to make a BIG difference. Showing our seniors they are loved, valued, and remembered is part of how we provide the best home care in Birmingham, AL, all year long. The deadline for all donations is December 12th, so get out there and make a local senior's holidays merry and bright!
