We are wrapping up the 2025 holiday season with some exciting news! This year, our Be a Santa to a Senior program reached a new milestone, as our team and volunteers packed and delivered over 500 gifts for seniors in Birmingham, AL.
Be a Santa to a Senior is a yearly Home Instead tradition where we bring gifts to older adults who might be feeling isolated or are living on a fixed income. Many seniors don't have family around, and for some, the bag they receive through this program is the only gift they will open on Christmas morning.
We couldn't have pulled this year off without our generous donors and partners. A huge shoutout to United Way of Central Alabama and their Meals on Wheels team for helping us with the delivery process.
