Job Details

We are currently recruiting for open positions in NELSON COUNTY !  If you live in or around Afton, Crozet, Nellysford, etc., OR are willing to drive there to work with our wonderful clients, please apply today. Wages range from $11-$16/hr. 

- Must have 3-4 days of open availability including weekends
- Average 25 hours per week
- Work with Personal Care Clients
- Work a total of 90 days to receive sign-on-bonus
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance
- Able to lift 25lbs
- Must have a smart phone and be able to send and receive text messages
- Must have a valid email address

**No previous experience necessary.
**CNA's start at a higher hourly wage.

Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday CAREGivers Needed (Sign-On-Bonus)

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for compassionate CAREGivers that can work Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays with a flexible schedule.  We want you to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. No previous experience is necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
  • Must have own vehicle with auto insurance and driver's license 
  • Must have working cell phone
  • Must have valid email address

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Personal Care assistance
  • Transporting a client on errands
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Alzheimer’s Care
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Home Health Caregivers needed- PRN (Higher pay rate!) CNA, PCA, HHA, strongly encouraged to apply!

Job Details

Are you looking for 3-4 days off a week without having to worry about being called in? Are you tired of coming into your shift and having your coworkers call out on you so you are stuck with more patients than you can handle?

Home Instead Senior Care seeks an on-call home health professional who can perform personal and companion care to the seniors of the greater Charlottesville area to aide them in remaining independent in their homes! You provide 3-4 days of on-call availability, and in turn, we offer you a higher wage, and the guarantee that you won’t be called in on your days off. With your schedule being strictly set, you can have the ability to plan your life the way you want!

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3-4 days of open flexibility (you pick which days)
  • Have a HHA, CNA, or PCA license/certification
  • Be able to work with Alzheimer’s and Dementia care clients
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Can lift at least 25 lbs
  • Possess a reliable vehicle, driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Must be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius of their home
  • Be able to pass background check and drug screen

Primary Responsibilities:
