Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I would do something that involved seniors. My passion for seniors came from listening to my grandparents tell stories and the struggles they faced. I guess, I am what you would call an "old soul".
I have over 25 years' experience in the health care industry. Home Instead has given me the opportunity to give back to my community. Every time I walk into a home or speak with a family on the phone, I know in my heart that this is the place for me. For me this is not a job. It is my passion. The best part about working here at Home Instead, is seeing the look of relief on client's and family's faces when we can help keep them in their home. There is nothing more gratifying.

I have worked in the social services field for 17 plus years. As an alumnus of Northern Illinois University, the opportunity presented itself to work for an agency that cared for Adults with Developmental Disabilities in Genoa, Illinois. From there, I took the experience that I acquired and moved to Rockford to work for another wonderful agency in the field. I eventually desired a career change, which brought me to HISC. I started my experience as a caregiver with HISC and moved into my current position as a Service Coordinator, which I have held for 2 years.
