  1. Flexible hours that fit your lifestyle

    As a Home Instead CAREGiver, you set your working hours and desired hours based on your availability, not a standard shift time.  We want our CAREGivers to lead robust and fulfilling lives.  With our flexible scheduling, you can have a meaningful career without sacrificing your family, friends and interests.  Work as little as 15 hours per week or work full-time hours with our Flex 40 Bonus Program.

  2. Ongoing Training and Support

    As a Home Instead CAREGiver, you will begin your journey by completing a full day CAREGiver Orientation Training in our office.  During orientation you will be introduced to Empower, an online catalog of learning for CAREGivers to complete independently.  CAREGivers are assigned specific trainings by their supervisor but will also have the opportunity to choose trainings of their interest. 

    CAREGivers are given on the spot job training, also known as shadow shifts.  This allows our CAREGivers to work directly with our clients, while having a professional CAREGiver working alongside them to answer any questions and provide guidance as needed.

    Home Instead holds three CAREGiver Meetings per year.  These meetings provide additional training opportunities and allow CAREGivers to connect with one another and the office staff.

  3. Work close to home

    At Home Instead Senior Care, we provide services to individuals in Centre and Clearfield Counties.  As a CAREGiver, you are given the opportunity to list the specific towns that you prefer to work in and the distance in miles that you are willing to travel. 

    We are proud of our CAREGivers and want you to be able to work close to home and provide support within your own community.  We also pay for travel time between clients and mileage for miles driven during your shift.


  4. Be appreciated

    Our CAREGivers are extraordinary!  To show our appreciation for what they do, Home Instead offers a variety of bonus opportunities. 

    The first opportunity is a sign-on bonus which CAREGivers can earn after 60 days of employment. 

    We offer CAREGiver Referral Bonuses if they refer someone that is hired as a CAREGiver.

    They can also earn Anniversary bonuses and special recognition bonuses if chosen as CAREGiver of the Month or CAREGiver of the Year! 

    We always look forward to opportunities where we can celebrate YOU!  We greatly enjoy holding special events and CAREGiver gatherings in the office.  These events always consist of food, prizes and great conversation!

    Home Instead provides 24/7 office support including on call staff to assist CAREGivers in case of an emergency.  Our support staff provides continuous, guidance, training, encouragement, a listening ear and more to each one of our CAREGivers.

    We also provide field support and on-site training to ensure our CAREGivers are comfortable with a client’s level of care before sending them in independently.
