Ron and Christine Krasnansky, Owners

Ron and Christine Krasnansky opened their first Home Instead office in State College in 2002.

Ron and Christine impact the community through efforts to improve the quality of life for senior adults as they age. The quality standards of Home Instead are recognized nationwide and the local offices set the Standards of Excellence in the industry. All of the State College and Caregiver staff are continually educated, trained, and screened through many background checks. In requiring this level of quality, Ron and Christine allow thousands of seniors and their families in the local area to enjoy peace of mind, independence, and dignity. Ron and Christine are hands-on owners with an exemplary caring spirit. They are committed to improving the lives of Central Pennsylvania's seniors.

Currently, the State College team provides home care in Centre, Clearfield, Mifflin, Juniata and Huntingdon counties.

Ron and Christine Krasnansky both graduated from Penn State University. As co-owners of these two franchises they share a deep commitment to providing excellent homecare and to fulfilling our mission:

Amy Williamson, R.N., Director, Client Experience

Amy has been our Director of Client Experience for fourteen years. She came to us with almost fifteen years of experience as a visiting nurse. Amy is responsible for supervising the function of all client scheduling as well as overseeing assignments of new clients and ongoing quality assurance. She is an important link to our client's and their families as we develop and maintain their ongoing needs and ability to age in place. Amy works very closely with service coordinators from Veteran's Affairs and the Area Agency on Aging to provide adequate services to those in need.

Dana Romanini, Director of Human Resources

Dana is our Director of Human Resources. She is responsible for ensuring the needs of our care professional are met, and develops and maintains a workplace culture that retains quality care professionals. Dana is also responsible for building community awareness of open caregiver jobs while overseeing our Recruitment, Learning and Development, and Administrative teams. Denise Martin, Client Care Coordinator

As our Client Care Coordinator, Denise meets with clients and their families that are interested in home care to discuss ways that our services can help them age in place. Her role includes completing in-home care consultations to help determine how home care can best fit their needs. Denise then provides quality assurance visits to all of our clients to ensure that our services are meeting their needs.  She can also re-evaluate our clients needs should their be a change in condition. Denise is also active in the community building relationships so that we can be a resource to any senior in our community!  

Recruitment Coordinator

The Home Instead Recruitment Coordinator takes pride in identifying compassionate individuals who will provide essential support and companionship to seniors in the comfort of their homes. They diligently seeks out caregivers with a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors through personalized care. The Home Instead recruiter understands the unique qualities required for caregiving roles and employs a thoughtful approach in selecting candidates who not only possess the necessary skills but also embody empathy and respect. With their expertise, we ensure that each caregiver hired is not just an employee but a valued companion for the seniors they serve.

Taylor Keith, Learning and Development Coordinator, Care Professional Supervisor

Taylor is our Learning and Development Coordinator – Care Professional Supervisor for all of our Home Instead Care Pros. She began her career with Home Instead as a caregiver, and was promoted to her current position after being a part of our team for one year. Taylor conducts new care professional orientations and all care professional trainings. She motivates and inspires our care pro workforce and develops and tracks retention strategies. Taylor creates and implements annual care pro trainings, as well as engagement opportunities with our team.

Natasha’s is the first face you will see when entering our Home Instead office. She is responsible for handling a diverse range of tasks. She greets visitors, answering phones, maintains compliance, assistant in orientation. Natasha plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations

Sarah Baker, Service Coordinator

Our Service Coordinator oversees the communication of scheduling changes and updates to clients and Care Pros as they occur. They coordinate services with Waiver Service Coordinators as well as the Veteran's Administration. They provide accurate client information with new Care Pro assignments resulting in quality service. The Service Coordinator plays a vital role in all of our scheduling needs.

On Call Coordinators

These are the friendly voices you will hear after business hours for our State College office. They are fully trained to ensure that your needs are met outside of normal business hours. They can assist you with scheduling needs, care professional and client issues. As well take service inquiries, employment inquiries, and any emergencies that should arise. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
