CAREGiver

Job Details

$11.00 - $13.00* per hour

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

We are looking forward to you becoming a part of our team and joining our vision of easing burdens, keeping promises and preserving dignity.

We have a variety of shifts available, full-time and part-time position. We offer benefits including dental, vision, life, accidental, critical, and 401K Plan. Paid vacation after one year of employment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Alzheimer’s Care

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance and provide transportation to appointments if needed

Scheduling Coordinator

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a full-time Scheduling Coordinator. The successful Scheduling Coordinator will be organized and outgoing to coordinate the staffing of our client’s schedules. Interaction with our CAREGivers, clients, family members and co-workers require exceptional communication and organization skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Must be flexible within work week hours to ensure all shifts are filled daily
  • Ability to manage up to 100 clients and 100 CAREGivers schedules
  • Communicate daily changes to clients, family members, CAREGivers and office staff concerning changes regarding the health and well-being of clients as well as schedule changes
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Maintain proper and adequate documentation

The successful candidate will:

  • Must enjoy the “puzzle” process of putting clients and CAREGivers schedules together
  • Must be able to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
  • Ability to multi-task

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • One year of scheduling/staffing experience in Healthcare preferred
