Andrea Cobb is our Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. Andrea joined our team in 2008. Being with Home Instead for more than eight years, Andrea has learned it takes a very special person to be an outstanding CAREgiver. Many of the skills can be taught, but the heart and passion must be a character trait our employees have naturally. This is one of the qualities Andrea looks for in our applicants. Andrea enjoys meeting our CAREgivers and learning about them and their background. This allows Andrea to match the best staff with our clients. Recruiting CAREgivers is a challenging job, but when she finds the right person for a specific client, she says that is the best part of her job. She worked in the court system prior to coming to Home Instead, and dealt with custody issues among families and she began seeing a lot of grandparents were raising their grandchildren and dealing with health issues themselves. This started her interest in seniors and when a position opened at Home Instead, she applied. When she got the job, she said she felt immediately at home. Andrea enjoys helping her husband, Everett, with his woodworking. It’s not uncommon to find her painting or sprucing up some of the things he builds. Andreas son, Wesley, is a freshman at ETSU, and daughter attends Morristown West High.
Client & CAREGiver Scheduling
Tina Eldridge is our Service Coordinator. She joined our team in 2011. Tina spends the majority of her days working with our CAREgivers and clients to provide coverage that best meets the needs of those we serve. Many calls that come into our office are asking for Tina. Tina enjoys interacting with our clients and their families on a daily basis. It is often said that if you have ever been a Home Instead client then you know Tina. Tina coordinates the schedules of our clients and CAREgivers for our 5 county service area. It is a busy job, but Tina is very determined to have CAREgivers where ever they are needed. She often anticipates their scheduling needs and tries to have back up plans if needed. Tina and her husband, Brian, have a son, Damian, and daughter, Emily. Tina is also an experienced Clogger and Two-Step dancer.
Community Outreach, Quality Assurance
Todd is our Home Care Consultant. He joined our team in August of 2014. Todd came to Home Instead with knowledge and experience in long term care field and has worked in the senior health field for over 10 years. During that time, he has built a network of contacts and resources to assist seniors and their families in the communities with serve. Todd travels our service area speaking to various groups and individuals about the benefits of in-home care and the many struggles of being a family caregiver. He works with families and other service providers. Todd is married to his wife Ashley. Together they share two beautiful daughters, Emily and Olivia, and a rambunctious toddler named Connor. Todd enjoys his role as the consultant and working with families who are seeking help in caring for their loved ones.
