Weekend Scheduler

Job Details

Trusted home care company seeking tech savvy, trustworthy, and articulate individuals available on weekends for a Scheduling Coordinator position for Wilmington office.  We are a great team to work with!
 Flexibility, positive attitude, quick thinking in high pressure situations, and interest in the well being of seniors is required.
Ideal candidates will have weekend availability during the daytime hours of 9a - 3p as well as previous work experience in a customer service or people oriented industry.  

PREFERRED: Outstanding work history with a minimum of one year experience working in an office setting.   

Primary Home Care Scheduler Responsibilities :

  • Manage home care incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Create and maintain Client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships in healthcare.
  • Coordinate, schedule, mediate, and log all staffing and dispatching activity utilizing the software system for healthcare home care services.
  • Schedule and enter accurate client and CAREGiver records in the home care software system. 
  • Schedule & follow up with all employees and Client issues to ensure problems are resolved and communicated.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a valid North Carolina driver’s license, and must be able to pass a DMV record check, a criminal background check, and a drug screening.

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a caring and compassionate FT CAREGiver to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Hours:  work 38 hours and get paid for 40 hours a week,  Time:  Can range from 7:30- 8:00 pm M-F (shifts with Clients are assigned)

RN (Registered Nurse) Field Nurse - Home Care

Job Details

Established home care agency is seeking 22-30 hour/week RN Nurse to assist with serving private pay clients in New Hanover and Pender Counties.  The ideal individual will have excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze and problem solve and assist families with planning care. We are looking for someone who is professional, socially engaging and a team player. 

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited college with a Nursing degree
  • Must be a registered nurse in good standing, holding a current NC License issued by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Case management a plus for this role
Education
  • ADN required
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Direct clinical services as per agency scope of practice and provide overall coordination and evaluation.
  • Supervises all professional and paraprofessional staff to ensure quality service and maintenance of performance standards.
  • Perform patient assessments on potential home care clients
  • Visit home care clients; private pay clients only seen
  • Insure that all necessary documentation is completed
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with the healthcare team, client and his/her family members

  • Teach small orientation class for personal care skills once a week

Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler

Do you want to be a key healthcare scheduler and work with a small supportive Home Care team? If so, this scheduling and staffing position may be a good fit.

The Home Care Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator is expected to manage a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling and dispatching service for Home Care Clients. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest home care quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships. Time management & creativity skills are a must. 

Primary Healthcare Home Care Scheduler Responsibilities :

  • Follow up and coordinate with all Client and employee logistics while staffing to ensure their home care problems are resolved and improving home health home care services.
  • Schedule and enter accurate client and CAREGiver records in the home care software system. Updating home health notes pertaining to the clients home care visits.
  • Increase client loyalty to by utilizing the consultative sales process to better meet our current client needs by effectively scheduling & providing home health healthcare needs.
  • Schedule & follow up with all employees and Client issues to ensure problems are resolved and communicated.
  • Schedule and provide staffing with Client and CAREGiver Introductions and communicate to the Client/Client Representative the date and time of Client/Caregiver Introductions.
  • Schedule and capture opportunities to increase home care service hours in scenarios to enhance and/or increase quality home care
  • Receive new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter the information into the healthcare software system and work with Home Health Care team to communicate and schedule the Home Care Care Consultation.
  • Scheduling & Staffing requires open and effective communication with colleagues, employees, clients and family members. Effectively build relationships with staff & clients to provide a favorable home health setting promoting an expert home care environment.

+ Education/Experience Requirements :

  • High school graduation or higher; Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Home Care Experience a plus
