  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

Brunswick County - Scheduling Coordinator

Scheduling Coordinator  full-time or part-time opportunity in Shallotte, NC (Brunswick County) office
 
Work with a GREAT Team!  Home Instead Senior Care, non-medical home care for seniors, is hiring for the position of full-time or part- time scheduler.  
 
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, be computer literate and should be able to think clearly in a high pressure situation.  Prior scheduling experience a plus.  

The Scheduler's primary duties would include:
Managing the overall CAREGiver and client schedules 
Communication focal point to our CAREGiver team in managing and monitoring visits and any schedule changes
Working with a team on managing/ensuring quality home care for our clients
* Scheduling and/or Health care experience a plus


Hours:   Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (if interested in full-time position) OR Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm (if interested in part-time position)

Caregiver Coordinator- CNA Requirement

We are looking for ... CNA Caregiver Coordinator (Must be a CNA)
Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a professional and caring Caregiver Coordinator to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. This position is part-time but may lead into full-time within 6 months.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Personal and Companionship Care with our Caregiving
  • Class presentation to caregivers in training along with staff RNs.
  • Introductions for new caregivers with new clients
  • Mentoring for Alzheimer’s Care
  • Must have experience with Computer for documentation, calendar coordination and Microsoft word.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and family in a friendly, professional and congenial manner
  • Complete and clear a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
*No previous experience necessary but a plus - pay scale: depending on experience 13.00- 14.00 a hour

Monday- Friday with one weekend a month (Sat & Sun - approx 3-4 hours each day) required.  We are a great team to work with!
Paid Time Off accrued, flexible time allowed

Responsibilities- To always ensure our Caregivers are the best!

Weekend Scheduler

Job Details

Trusted home care company seeking tech savvy, trustworthy, and articulate individuals available on weekends for a Scheduling Coordinator position for Wilmington office.   Flexibility, positive attitude, quick thinking in high pressure situations, and interest in the well being of seniors is required. Ideal candidates will have weekend availability during the daytime hours of 8a - 5p as well as previous work experience in a customer service or people oriented industry.  Please be sure to complete the application in its entirety. RN (Registered Nurse) Field Nurse - Home Care

Job Details

Established home care agency is seeking a seasoned, 35-40 hour/week RN Nurse Supervisor, serving private pay clients in New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick Counties. The Nurse Manager, under the supervision of the owners, is responsible for all clinical aspects of the company and is responsible for the general supervision and direction of all professional and paraprofessional field staff who provide services. The ideal individual will have excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze and problem solve, and established relationships to promote business. We are looking for someone who is socially engaging and a team player. 

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited college with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing or other health related field.
  • Must be a registered nurse in good standing, holding a current NC License issued by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Must have an understanding of business development and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be familiar with NC BON Best Practices and implementation process
  • Must have participated in an agency accreditation process
Education
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Direct all clinical services as per agency scope of practice and provide overall coordination and evaluation.
  • Evaluate performance of all field staff based on care provided to client and family.
  • Supervises all professional and paraprofessional staff to ensure quality service and maintenance of performance standards.
  • Consult with the physician when necessary in order to provide and maintain safe and efficient patient care and review progress.
  • Perform patient assessments on potential home care clients
  • Visit home care clients as required
  • Insure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Monitor client clinical status insuring all files meet standards as per governing regulations.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of company quality assurance and risk management program
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with the healthcare team, client and his/her family members
  • Adhere to standard precautions, aseptic technique and infection control guidelines
  • Interpret to the client and family implications of the clients health status
  • Demonstrate respect for the opinion of others
  • Maintain confidentiality of client assessments and records
  • Identify and use appropriate resources as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
