Weekend Scheduler

Job Details

Trusted home care company seeking tech savvy, trustworthy, and articulate individuals available on weekends for a Scheduling Coordinator position for Wilmington office.  We are a great team to work with!
 Flexibility, positive attitude, quick thinking in high pressure situations, and interest in the well being of seniors is required.
Ideal candidates will have weekend availability during the daytime hours of 9a - 3p as well as previous work experience in a customer service or people oriented industry.  

PREFERRED: Outstanding work history with a minimum of one year experience working in an office setting.   

Primary Home Care Scheduler Responsibilities :

  • Manage home care incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Create and maintain Client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships in healthcare.
  • Coordinate, schedule, mediate, and log all staffing and dispatching activity utilizing the software system for healthcare home care services.
  • Schedule and enter accurate client and CAREGiver records in the home care software system. 
  • Schedule & follow up with all employees and Client issues to ensure problems are resolved and communicated.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a valid North Carolina driver’s license, and must be able to pass a DMV record check, a criminal background check, and a drug screening.

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a caring and compassionate FT CAREGiver to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Caregiver Coordinator- CNA Requirement

We are looking for ... CNA Caregiver Coordinator (Must be a CNA)
Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a professional and caring Caregiver Coordinator to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. This position is available both part-time or full-time.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Personal and Companionship Care with our Caregiving
  • Class presentation to caregivers in training along with staff RNs.
  • Introductions for new caregivers with new clients
  • Mentoring for Alzheimer’s Care
  • Must have experience with Computer for documentation, calendar coordination and Microsoft word.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and family in a friendly, professional and congenial manner
  • Complete and clear a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
  • Matching CAREGivers with clients based on experience, type of care provided, location, etc.
*No previous experience necessary but a plus - pay scale: depending on experience 13.00- 14.00 a hour

Monday- Friday with one weekend a month (Sat & Sun - approx 3-4 hours each day) required.  We are a great team to work with!
Paid Time Off accrued, flexible time allowed

Responsibilities- To always ensure our Caregivers are the best!  

Qualifications:
  • CNA required

Home Instead Senior Care (a local non-medical home care provider for seniors) is hiring for the position of a part-time Scheduling Coordinator. Within this position, you will be creating home care schedules for seniors in the Brunswick County area (between Leland and Calabash), creating relationships with CAREGivers providing companionship and personal care to our clients, and assisting a great team with growing our local business to new heights! The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for getting to know our local clients and CAREGivers and creating the best possible client/CAREGiver matches based on locations, personality traits, and previous care experience. If you love solving problems, being social, and you're driven to succeed- this position will be PERFECT for you!
 
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, an optimistic personality, be computer literate, and be able to think clearly in a high pressure situation.  Prior scheduling or health care experience is a plus!

The Scheduler's primary duties would include:
-Managing the overall CAREGiver and client schedules 
-Communication focal point to our CAREGiver team in managing and monitoring visits and any schedule changes
-Working with a team on managing / ensuring quality home care for our clients


Hours:   Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (slight schedule changes can be considered)
