Tammy is the Nursing Director of Home Instead Senior Care and a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of medical experience. Her background has been in hospital Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics and Case Management. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Barton College in Wilson, NC she concentrated her career in Geriatrics and Case Management. She obtained her Certification in Case Management after realizing she loved assisting patients and families through the healthcare system. In addition to nursing, Tammy is the mother of 3 boys and fosters rescue dogs as much as possible. Her and her husband live here in Wilmington.
Maggie and Nicole are our great Client Care Coordinators! They are here to help families with their care needs, assist with the transition to home from rehab or nursing facilites and to answer any questions regarding home care planning. They have had extensive training in Alzheimers and Parkinson Disease and understand the importance of proper home care to support your loved one when living with this disease. They truly want the best care for you or your family member.

Angela's main role is to lead our scheduling department and match our CAREGivers with clients so not only do their schedules fit , but they can also build a wonderful, caring relationships. Angela started with Home Instead as a CAREGiver and that experience has helped her relate to our current and future CAREGivers and clients. Angela graduated from St. Andrews University with a Business Administration degree. Angela enjoys being outdoors and taking her two dogs for walks around town!
I worked in New York in advertising for Newsday for 32 years and took care of my Mom and my Mother-in-Law. I worked as a Caregiver for 4 years and now work in the office. This is an amazing Company to work for. The amount of care that Home Instead has for Clients and Caregivers goes above and beyond. I have so much respect for everyone that is part of this organization. Some of my responsibilities include opening the office and getting it ready for the day, incoming calls, review Caregiver inquiries, schedule applicant interviews, handle Caregiver expirations and reminders, distribute mail, plus much more. When not on the job, I enjoy traveling with my husband and being with my family.
